Billing and Refund Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

This policy is part of the Terms of Service and explains how you pay for TinyPing.

In plain English

US$6.99 a month or US$47 a year for up to 50 active monitors; 51 to 100 is US$13.98 a month or US$94 a year, and so on. Paused monitors are free. A promotional price lasts only for the period it states, then the normal price applies.

1. Pricing

TinyPing is priced per block of 50 active monitors, currently US$6.99 per block per month or US$47 per block per year; you choose monthly or yearly billing when you subscribe. You choose the number of blocks; the number of active monitors cannot exceed your capacity. Paused monitors do not count. Prices exclude taxes such as sales tax, service tax or VAT, which are added where required. From time to time we may offer a promotional price for new subscriptions started within a stated period. A promotional price applies only for the term it states (for example, the first year), after which the subscription renews at the price in effect at renewal.

In plain English

Seven days, 50 monitors, no card. If you do not subscribe, monitoring pauses. Nothing is deleted.

2. Free trial

Each new workspace receives a 7-day free trial with capacity for 50 monitors and no payment details required. If you subscribe during the trial, your first charge is taken when the trial ends. If you do not subscribe, your monitors are paused at the end of the trial and your settings and history are kept so you can resume by subscribing.

In plain English

You pay a month or a year up front by card through Stripe. It renews each month or year until you cancel.

3. Payment and renewal

Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance, as chosen when subscribing, through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly term (the "term") at the then-current price unless cancelled before renewal.

In plain English

Go past your capacity and we add another 50 automatically, charging your card for just the time left in your month or year. No confirmation step. Remove capacity and the unused part is credited to your next bill.

4. Changing capacity

When an active subscription needs more capacity because you add or resume monitors (one at a time or by import), we automatically add the blocks required and charge the payment method on file immediately for the remainder of the current term, prorated by time, without a separate confirmation. By subscribing you authorise these charges. The additional capacity applies once that payment succeeds; if it fails, the monitors are not added. Amounts below the payment processor's minimum charge are carried to your next invoice. You can also add capacity manually from the billing page. When you reduce capacity, the prorated unused amount is credited against your next invoice. You cannot reduce capacity below your number of active monitors.

In plain English

If your card fails, we retry for a while and keep your monitors running. If it keeps failing, they pause.

5. Failed payments

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over the following days and your monitors keep running in the meantime. If payment ultimately fails, the subscription ends and monitors are paused until a new subscription is started.

In plain English

Cancel any time. You keep what you paid for until the end of the month or year, then it stops. We do not refund part of a term, except where the law says we must or we made a mistake.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term and no further charges are made. Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer law, or where we charged you in error, in which case we refund the incorrect amount. Contact [email protected] about any charge you believe is wrong.

In plain English

If the price goes up, you hear from us at least 30 days before your next renewal.

7. Price changes

We may change prices for future terms. We will notify account owners by email at least 30 days before a price change applies to their renewal. The change never applies to a term you have already paid for.
